Since then both Mike and Lesley have pursued successful real estate careers with Mike specialising in sales and Lesley, project marketing and development.

Actively participating in community life, Mike was the founding President of the local Chamber of Commerce, is a member of Rotary and the current president of Whitsunday Toastmasters Club. Lesley founded the Whitsunday Intimate Theatre Society and is also the Secretary of Whitsunday Toastmasters.
